I'm not a parent and neither is my SO but there are things which he would never ever tolerate that I would tolerate from our kids.
I just hope it never comes to picking sides because I don't want to hurt either one :(!
oh and drugs/smoking/alcohol is out of the question regardless of religion its bad for you and I haven't done it so why should they?
I want my children to not be so easily influenced or blame it on others for their wrong doings. Accepting responsibility and if they make a mistake I think action has to be taken but I'll never disown my children.
If he/she wanted to stop being Muslim or wanted to marry a non-Muslim I would be okay with it but my SO wouldn't and he would blame himself.
