On other note... What is the origin of the name.. Are they Rajputs too?? I am confused.. I had a friend called Saqib Butt in Lahore and they used to tell me that all Butts are migrants from Kashmir area.. and they are in large numbers in Punjab.

The jokes, apparently, never ceased flowing. Imagine what would happen to his name when read out on official documents as Last Name, First Name.

I have a tendency to not interfere in such matters; but hey, if someone was running after a Butt to add that as the last name, and the Butt was agreeable to that...good for them. When talking to a Butt, some people emphasize the U sound. Such as, "are U mad at some one?". Usually works to make them laugh. A technique tried over and over again.
