How you should deal with people of sensitive nature because they can so easily get hurt by little things/jokes ?And sometimes you dont even know/realize that they got hurt because of you when they keep their feelings to themselves.
How many of you are sensitive to other people’s words and feelings? How many of you pick up on everything, and feel very deeply if criticized.

It makes life so much more difficult if you are married to someone of this nature and specially when they keep their feelings to themselves. You are always guessing as to why are they so moody and upset and whatever. Keeping up with this type of guess work can be nerve racking.
Pick up on the passive aggressive behaviour. Try to be very clear about everything you communicate with the person. Sensitive folks don't take jokes very well so minimize that as well.
Try to get them to share their feelings and thoughts often.
I am very very sensitive and naazuk-mizaaj, almost like a girl and I'm meant to be Pathan, lol..
My ex-best mate didn't invite me to a special occasion in his life and I found out the next day at the mall when I saw him and some other guys from school, I acted like I wasn't bothered and said thing like "saaley kuttey mein aana bhi nahi chata tha" to his face but then I went into the toilets and cried for 30 mins...
At work if anyone says anything bad about Pakis or Muslims (or in the papers) it really gets to me and I take it personal, usually brooding over it for a few days with severe depression..
I'm half Punjabi, half Pathan so if either side makes racist jokes about the other I take it personal..
I've decided in future I'm not going to take anything serious, just chill.
I am very very very sensitive...i take almost everything to heart...and its really hard to forget certain things as well because its hard to speak about them with anyone in order to get over them...so i try not to hurt anyone feelings because i know it would hurt me if they said the same to me.

I am very sensitive, i think i can be called super sensitive. It has all cons definately. Alot of times i wish i was not this sensitive but then there is not much you can do about it really. Being born that way is different from having grown into a sensitive person. I think latter can be dealt with but not if its something innate. Ofcourse with convinction you can try and be less sensitive and condition your mind to be that way but i think that's the hardest thing.
Atleast with me its not about criticism or only that, its alot more about how people tend to misuse you and turn a blind eye or deaf ear on you when you seem to point it out. It's like okkk how can they even think of acting that dumb? nobody can be that dumb. Firstly its very hard for me to even let the other person know what has hurt me. I feel they should realise it on their own but if they act like nothing is wrong n question why u may not be very friendly with them. It's then when you confront them that and they end up hurting you even more by trying to claim to not have even realised what they have done could hurt you or was hurt-able. Doesn't make any sense.
Oh well...that's how i feel not sure how many of you would agree with me.

There has to be some solid reasons for that and it needs a lot of work to fix these kind of people and obviously no one has time to baby sit with them! either leave them or otherwise respect their feelings and likings!
