so the guy asked our name
and the person was a dentist so they told their name as Doctor Blahblah =\

I knew a guy who used to be ex pilot from plant protection department of Pakistan who used to spray chemicals on crops before he was laid off from work.
He would always introduce himself as Captain XYZ. I used to feel so embarrassed while being with him. He was a supplier of my company so I had to interact with him but I never liked the guy. He was such a looser.
Come on dude you do not fly airplanes anymore welcome to the ground realities.

There's a person that comes to my Mamo's place often and he always refers himself as Dr. Wahid, mbbs from Holland..

And a friend of mine is engaged to sumone who always calls himself Captain hammad... he answers his cell fone saying "hello, Captain Hammad speaking"

Nothing wrong with showing off what you have worked hard to achieve.
This could have been their incentive for working to get the qualification in the first place.
Besides how can we guess how many people are being inspired to get the degrees by seeing these names.
As it doesn't hurt anyone, they should'nt be made fun of.
