What surprised you most about the other side with the way they do things, or think, or act?
Would be more interested in things that cannot be discovered by an outsider, rather than the common things like LOL Bengalis love their fish. For example, you can read dozens of books about visiting Pakistan, but I bet there will be dozens of things which can only be learned once you are on the ground there.

Pakistani families, many of them have a thing for cats......as soon as they get a home they get cats.
