This is a shortcut to show that a change has been made. We actually like to fool ourselves and the public...the real change takes sincerity, effort, dedication and professionalism.

just look at the other thread about Malik possibly being made captain. there are ppl lauding his appointment just because they want to see change and no other reason... others are asking for Misbah... a guy who looked like he would be run out of the country. of course, there are legions who hate Malik. guess what they're going to ask for as soon as Malik makes a mistake or the team loses...
now, I'm a Malik fan and have always been. and I think he's been treated very poorly over the past 1-2 years. but I can't make sense of this change. the guy's numbers are not where they should to become captain. he's going to be under immense pressure. and what guarantee is there that he will do any better than Yousuf? another change for the sake of change...
whoever you make captain, give him at least two years without asking a single question. don't say a word. just be quiet and watch. give a verdict after two years.
