Whenever I have gone for interviews I NEVER take my resume with me. Infact the company who is interviewing you should have your resume in the first place.
You should know your resume inside out anyway.
Maybe its an American thing to take your CV with you.
It's not an American thing Rizwan... I've taken the resume with me whenever interviewing abroad as well... 99% of the time, the interviewers will have a copy on-hand, but just for that 1% of the time they don't, you ought to show them that you came in well prepared in the first place - and you're right about having your resume at your fingertips, but while you highlight something from it, it'd help if the person in front of you had a visual... it enhances their cognitive processing so to say and you increase your chances of putting the point across.
