Guys any time you submit a resume to any company make sure you bring an extra one with you on day of interview.
I am so shocked with i see people with years of expereince, BS or MS/Mba bringing themselves with no resume. Just because you faxed or emailed a resume make sure you have an extra one with you.
oyee... impression aap ne jamana hai - employer ne nahi... just the fact that you applied there is reason enough to believe that you perceive the employer worthwhile :)
and most people use a better grade paper to print their resumes. So taking the original with you is important because the emailed one or faxed one will be on regular 20 lb photocopy bond......not very impressive looking.
it's a matter of taking pride in the only piece of paper that represents your entire career!
Well of course the interviewee is expected to take a few copies of the current resume; however, I'd think the interviewer is klutz to have lost the resume.
Nia, I hope you don't lose it when the interviewee presents you with a copy. :p
Whenever I have gone for interviews I NEVER take my resume with me. Infact the company who is interviewing you should have your resume in the first place.
You should know your resume inside out anyway.
Maybe its an American thing to take your CV with you.

It's not an American thing Rizwan... I've taken the resume with me whenever interviewing abroad as well... 99% of the time, the interviewers will have a copy on-hand, but just for that 1% of the time they don't, you ought to show them that you came in well prepared in the first place - and you're right about having your resume at your fingertips, but while you highlight something from it, it'd help if the person in front of you had a visual... it enhances their cognitive processing so to say and you increase your chances of putting the point across.
