i guess its also the influence of the media...the girls c beautifull actresses on tv, they want to be like that, and same with the boys ... they live more in a filmi duniya ... but if u listen to them u'll know how narrow minded the boys are from their..cause most are not studied, but only think 'bout girls or shaadi ..

yeah me 2 , and the way they talk to naukars..so rude.. they dont even care if its someone very old or very young, some ppl have even very young kids as naukar, instead of giving them some taleem, they keep them as naukar..thats so bad.. we had no naukar shaukar at our own home.. we did evrthing by ourself, yeah our neigbours everyone had, and we were nice to them all, and they had many respect for us .. even our Chaukidaar was specially nice for us cause we treated him like a human, not like an animal, like the ppl of there use to treat him.. its really sad, humanity in pakistan is not left, they kill each other for money.. money is everything for them..
I even heard from my neigbour girls that girls go in the morning to college and after college they are Callgirls … thats so sad to hear

It is about having a sense of direction, I mean let us be fair the youth of America and Britain is not Einstein and their idleness is far harmful than our youth. From drugs, violence to sex while most of our youth does is talk or act all over-the-top like people in the Indian movies. The point is Pakistan needs positive actions and efficiency from its youth more than any other country. This is our potential and they seriously need an optimistic direction.

Ummm...I dunno....studying for school I suppose? I guess they don't want to fail their next test and get beat up by the teacher and/or their parents? Working at a young age isn't considered normal in Pakistani society (I'm speaking of cities, not villages). There aren't enough jobs in Pakistan to satisfy the college educated people...how do you think teenagers will manage to find jobs for themselves?
And in what aspect is the Pakistani society worse than the Western civilization? They aren't wealthy enough? I think we all knew that. There aren't enough highly educated people? Everyone knew that as well. What you're saying isn't a new revelation that you're making it out to be. Obviously you don't know Pakistan well enough. Maybe you should look beyond the image of Pakistan created by the western media and go there yourself to experience the life. All the problems that Pakistan has are present in every other developing nation too.
The government doesn't have a proper infrastructure in place to provide its young citizens with extra-curricular activities. You can't blame them either. With the kind of corruption-stripped budget that is available to the government, there is barely enough to attract foreign investors into the country.

the people in the govt offices work at a snail's pace and they are off early.if you need to get something done which takes only 5 minutes it can quite often take 5 days.people are not only lathargic and slow,but they are too arrogant to show efficieny at work in the govt offices.And the same goes for the judicial system in Pakistan,it is appalling,we have cases in high courts and supreme courts which would last for as long as 25 years in some cases....yes thats right 25 years...I can't think of any country where cases last for that long no matter how complicated they may be.

U know how u guys r talking abt how its sad that the nokars aren't treated well....blah blah blah....well don't underestimate them...it is sad and all.....but they are so damn chalak. They tell ur house story in other houses....they have nakara that they want to watch tv while cleaning. They steal the littlest things from ur house...and most of all they lie that oh my son is in this danger....i need money for him. And oh another one. This one nokarani came to my cousins house to clean and she tore her shalwar purposely and goes to my cousin my shalwar tore while cleaning ur house can u give me another suit.....talk abt guts of some of these nokars. Not all nokars are like that.....but I am just saying u never know how some ppl are.
And ya PK is kinda corrupt....in Gulberg they have ppl stealing left and right....they take mobiles from ppl's hand that are standing on the street. And they even clean out ppl's houses when they aren't home.....how do u think they do it??? Obviously with the help of the police....everyone there is looking of how they will benefit themselves.
And the gov't....well don't even want to talk abt them.....they r too busy buying mercedez for their child's friend or buying 3 or 4 top class cars for each child....they don't even care abt the environment....(drainage system)....the water will stand in different areas of lhr for weeks....cuz the drainage system sucks....but the president wants to build an IMAX theater cuz someone high officials son went to an IMAX theater in UK or USA and liked it....so instead of making the smelly water drain faster they want to make an IMAX theater that many ppl might not go to cuz its not affordable....
Really I agree with Rocki that someone needs to help the country...seriously it is sad the way things work there....I wish I could do something....but its hard to even do anything until u become something or someone big to throw ur opinions out there.

I personally think that all people in Pakistan shud be killed, and Pakistan as a country shud be destroyed, there no good pieces of scum, that are lazy, don't work, and have it easy all day everyday. And they shud make an American Pakistan/ British Pakistan instead. Idiots.

People in Pakistan work much earlier than in the West, work longer hours, and get less amount of pay, they have to or they wouldn't be able to survive, maybe ur talking about burger log. This is what happens in a country thats not even 70 years old, how do u think ur beloved US or Britain, or whatever was when it was not even a century old.

Afrid, you're right..But I suspect these are Indian ancestral Pakistanis and Westernized ones. The ultra religious Pakistani dorks are much the same, they never wanted to see Pakistan formed in the first place, until Jinnah did so, and then when it was formed they leech about wanting power, else slagging off the Pakistanis for being Pakistani.

I know the hard working group of people who do it for survival but my country is the country where I wouldln't feel comfortable walking around w/ a cell phone or even a nice watch cause your next door pakistani neighbour would snatch it from you. Atleast here they don't cut off hands, legs, arms and what not and have young teens sitting on side roads begging cause it's there business. The brats you're talking about here are a lot better then the shareef kids up there buddy. Not only do they scam people there but money is meant to be everything there. You can't even call the police let alone go the hosptital without bribing. People kill each other for the dumbest things, you can't ever start a legit business and expect to do good without some sort of wrong doing. Islam is a joke, tribes are killing tribes day and night, no government to work with, people go to work and sign in and go back home, should I keep going on?

This is no different to any developing country. Pakistanis are not superhuman that they defy human nature, which runs its course in EVERY single poor country. People steal, get over it, they do far worse things in the West. You think any country is free from corruption, let alone a 50 year old developing one. Go back to grade school kid.
