I have one and went through a lawyer. I asked him a question related to wills and he instead offered to make me one. Since he was someone I had worked with a lot he didn’t even charge me anything for it It was necessary for me to have one cos the investment in the house we bought was mainly from my dad but the house was in my name so it was only right to have a will with the rightful beneficiaries. Plus even if it wasn’t about investment, just the fact that I had a major asset to my name made it important for me to have a will.

Is it sitting in your house or in a safe deposit bank in the bank? I am just curious to know what to do with it after you get the will.

I have not made one yet but I should get one soon, as you never know what can happen. 401K and life insurances etc. already have beneficiaries, so I am not worried about those.
