I think this year the same fiasco will ensue. Why should it be any different? Besides my boss likes it this way too. He celebrates the Eid I do not clebrate that way we both get the day of eid off

why do we fight over "differences in opinion" why can't we agree to disagree? Are we sure following one or the other way will take us to hell or heaven?
I don't think so...
The companions once had a major disagreement over making asr salah during a battle but they were not divided, once they disagreed on fasting in ramadhan again during a battle....but no fighting was reported...
This is just shetan making us focus on one or two ritual issues, and not letting us look beyond it...we are a muslim minority in a non-muslim country...is this not enough of a blessing that we can practice our deen freely and be happy to practice our acts of worship according to our best understandings...lets encourage a positve outook in our communities...
