People in academia please read...

Last yr I dropped out of King’s…London is “too enriched” for my liking. Anyway, I am hoping to return to grad school elsewhere, and am working of a personal statement/application as we speak.

Should I mention that I commenced a MA course previously? Would have help or hinder my chances of a place?

Thanks,

Leg

Re: Help needed!

Unless required by some academic statute, there is no need to mention it at all.

Re: People in academia please read...

I wouldn't mention it either... that being said, you need to come up with an alternative "story" about what you were doing at that time. Schools, just like potential employers may not look favorably upon idling.

and for God sake man... just select something, stick to it and see it to the end.

Re: People in academia please read...

I selected something, started it, didnt like it, nor liked London, and thus left. I'm usually pretty good at seeing things thru mate. :)

I can cover the time gap with work on the form. :)
