yar. first off i cant make out the source of this research in the crappy urdu font in use. i can hardly read anything there, so am reliant on you to answer basic questions.
supposedly these people would also be able to hear radio signals, (if their frequency range doesnt skip from 20hz to the visual range directly). furthermore, the outer ear comprises an eardrum, which responds to vibrations in a medium such as air or water, much like a drum responding to a percussion. this is why we cant hear in a vacuum such as space, even though there may be EM radiations in the audible range.
ultimately the sensation of hearing is through the movement of fluid across tiny hair, in response to vibrations. this mechanism is very different from the retinal sensors.
