Re: Peopel who changed history without getting formal education

Hitler.

Re: Peopel who changed history without getting formal education

Wasn't he in Military. Were military people not required to have formal education during that time?

Re: Peopel who changed history without getting formal education

Ordinary soldiers, especially those who volunteered, weren't required to have any formal education.

The world would've been a totally different and much better place to live had Hitler been accepted to the Art College he applied to.

Re: Peopel who changed history without getting formal education

Interesting that Hitler got interest in Arts.

Who are other people who had a positive impact on history like the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) instead of no formal education.

Hitler's personality supports the presumption that formal education is a must to make someone positive and contributing something positive.

Thomas Edison only ever had 3 months of formal schooling. He was withdrawn from school after just 3 months because his mother overheard his teacher insulting him. He went on to invent the light bulb and the video camera

Re: Peopel who changed history without getting formal education

Mughal e Azam Jalal u din Akbar? Was he really illiterate?

I'm astonished to know that even his forefathers like Tamerlane used to write diary and were quite tilted towards literature, etc. Babar, his grandfather, used to write poetry. Then how could Akbar remained illiterate? Did he never get opportunity for it or there is something else behind this?

Re: Peopel who changed history without getting formal education

Keir Hardy - the founder of the British Labour Party and first elected socialist and working class unionist M.P of Britain.

Malcolm X - but it's more of a case of education denied

Abraham Lincoln was self educated and of course, how can one forget Shakespeare.

There are more names and these are all I can think for of at the moment. I'm sure more will follow soon.

Jamshed Dasti.

Re: Peopel who changed history without getting formal education

lols. I know he is quite chitta unpaRh like most of the politicians, but how has he changed the history?

Re: Peopel who changed history without getting formal education

The fact that he won elections so many times and poor people of his district do love him for the work he did. He won with and without major political party.

Re: Peopel who changed history without getting formal education

I recently read that Mao Zedong of china has little formal education.

But when I google, I found that he was a teacher and served as librarian as well. Wiki’s article got coincidence to some extent what I read in a book.

Aged 8, Mao was sent to Shaoshan Primary School. Learning the value systems of Confucianism, he later admitted that he didn’t enjoy the classical Chinese texts preaching Confucian morals, instead favouring popular novels like Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Water Margin

Re: Peopel who changed history without getting formal education

I can understand, it becomes history when someone does reasonable work for his constituency in our part of the world.
