Royal TV Channel CEO Zahoor Ahmed Wattoo talking to a private TV channel told that a notice has been served on the Royal TV owners by PEMRA in which it has termed the transmission by the TV channel as illegal and said that no license has been issued to Royal TV.
He said that his TV channel has been made to pay the price for speaking the truth and this ban would be challenged in the High Court.
He said that we had completed all formalities as according to the law to start transmission and had even deposited landing rights fees.
Meanwhile PEMRA spokesman has denied that any ban has been imposed on the transmission of Royal TV and said that no transmission of any TV channel has been banned and as far as the matter of Royal TV goes it had requested for up linking however due to their incomplete papers their request was rejected.
