Pehle Aap....

Re: Pehle Aap....

It happens in real life in every walk of life. I observed it myself.

Re: Pehle Aap....

I never observed it, i went to many villages and stayed there but didn't see this anywhere, neither here in cities nor their in villages.
I think Pakistani culture main aisa nahi hota agr hota bhi hoga to kuch gharano main.

Re: Pehle Aap....

Pakistani society is not that women-friendly as you observed. Discrimination in different forms still prevails. We have practices like Karo-kari, wani, watta satta, where women is treated like a commodity. In some areas of KP and Balochistan, a man has buy his bride for money. Female education is still a taboo in many areas of Pakistan. Our literature is full of such stories. Read poetry of Parveen Shakir, Fehmida Riaz, Kishwar Naheed.. They all point out this discrimination. Newspapers are full of cruelties on females. This is all due to this discrimination rooted in very basis of our society.

Re: Pehle Aap....

here I'm talking abt the normal family system, You are talking abt cruel person and cruel families
I know the people you are talking abt exist in our societies but we are talking abt a peaceful
family system, i never observed the thing your are talking abt in these families.
and those cruel people who don't respect women, how can we expect from them that they give proper food
to them.
they kill women, khana pehly ya baad main khany ki to baat alag hy.

Re: Pehle Aap…

Well said.. but those cruel families (as per your terminology) do form major chunk of our society. Its just a matter of experience and observation which form basis of our perception. Unfortunately, I observed more exploitation than respect :frowning: In some cases respect and contact / relationship come after exploitation.

But of course there are good families too :k:
