Heather Schmidt, a famous US soprano singer and has been nominated twice for grammy awards, has visited Pakistan a number of times since 2005 and has fallen in love with the country. She has a Pakistani husband and is dedicated to improving Pakistan’s image abroad
She had a recent interview with Geo
and other interviews
for August 14 2013 she released this song
i love this song. it has such good lyrics and rhythm to it.
watch the ptv video where it interviews her husband and her. Her love for Pakistan is so beautiful Korn666. You must watch the PTV world interview. Especially around 19:30 min. The relationship the both of them have is so beautiful and amazing. I love the way she inspired love of Pakistan in him and how she wants to visit places common people go to and the way he explained profession doesnt matter. People in any profession can be good and bad but it is how you use that talent. She is an opera singer and she raises money for charity like for earthquake in Pakistan and how she helped Edhi foundation. The way she inspired him to come back to Pakistan and contribute in the aftermath of the natural tragedy was beautiful. The way she explained to him you should go back to take care of people's physical health and i will go back to heal people mentally. He still saved the sms she sent him about that. A beautiful combination of east and west. Then in that video she mentions there was a moment after a concert in Pakistan where some 16-17 yr old guy (at 19:35) strapped with semi automatic gun under his jacket met her after the show. He said he was going to take her out but hearing her words changed his heart and changed his actions.
They sing a really cute song for each other 22 min. The part at 19:30 min also makes me want to become a big singer and perform in Pakistan. Then have someone with a semi-automatic come to me after the show and say i was going to kill you but your words change my heart. I think that's pretty powerful.
