rvikz there is no religious hierarchy in Islam....
there is no supreme authority except the Quran and the Sunnah....
no scholar, no matter how "big" he is, can issue a verdict against these two....
and no matter how "small" a person, if he issues a verdict which conforms to the Quran and Sunnah, his verdict is to be followed....

if so, who gives it????
where r its roots????
r we as muslims, all of us, not entitled to help our brothers and sisters to purify themselves????
is it not one of the four basic actions obligatory for all muslims as mentioned in surah al-asr to give good advice to others????
