^ I don't think the clergy will solve the issue, they have already divided us into different schools of thought and we have become very extreme in our beliefs. When we die no one will ask us about our sect, anyways as a start maybe we can convince ourselves, and then very close friends and family. Being very careful that religious matters can inflame very quickly.
As a kid I used to hear a Hadith that near the qayamat there will be 72 firqas and only one would be on the right path, now every sect considers itself to be following the right path while others are destined to be doomed. If some one tries to convince others portraying that he is better and what ever the other is doing is shirk/biddat I don't think he can convince him. The other party would become very rigid in their views too. There should be some middle ground somewhere, but how to achieve it is the issue. At the end of the day one cannot impose their beliefs by the use of force.
I don’t have any issue in visiting mazaars, as these were great people who propagated the religion in the subcontinent. I am just talking about some acts which people commit there, I believe one should be a little bit cautious thats it.

Middle ground can be sought by our scholars only....if they do that peace is...KSA also has shia population but they dont have sectarian wars like pakistan...i think only christian-muslim fightings in nigeria match pakistani scale of violence..you can see them joining hands with each other for different issues...
apart from religious beliefs (or restrictions), “short cut” is one of the reasons...
Peer sahib aapki namazain muaf karwa saktay hain, zyada mehnat kay baghair aapko exam main achi position dilwa saktay hain, jald business chamka saktay hain
In sab kamoon k liye mehnat kon karay jab short cut mojood hay
Phir sari umar shariyat ki panbandi ki kya zaroorat jab aapkay “peer-o-murshid” aapko qayamat kay roz chuRwa saktay hain...
