i think it’s totally fabulous especially if you can’t afford to go to the salon and get a pedicure done. it takes off all the dead skin and callouses. anybody else try it…? of course the foot soak and other things help too but it was a good buy.
Re: Ped Egg great for home pedicures
Love it! Works so well!
Re: Ped Egg great for home pedicures
^right!
it wasn't even that expensive but does what it's supposed to like a good little pedicure tool :)
Re: Ped Egg great for home pedicures
I have it. I find it removes rough skin on the middle and bottom of your feet....not so much the top area.
Re: Ped Egg great for home pedicures
really? which other ones have you tried that are great, do tell
Re: Ped Egg great for home pedicures
^I didn't say that I had tried others. But I do have the Ped Egg. But there are certain ares of your feet ...the top part....right under the 2nd and middle toe....that the Ped Egg does get very well. At least that's what I've found.

are you saying it does or doesn't get the top part of the foot very well. if you meant it doesn't then what do you use to clean up that area?
Re: Ped Egg great for home pedicures
LOL, wow…this has turned out to be pretty serious
. I’m referring to the top-middle section of the foot…right under second and middle toe. I find that the shape of the Ped Egg does not sufficiently remove dry skin from that area. You may not feel that way and that’s perfectly alright. I have a smaller, more narrow foot scrubber that I use for that particular spot. Sometimes I form a mixture of lotion, olive oil, and sugar…and use it as a foot scrub…and sometimes I get pedicures.
Re: Ped Egg great for home pedicures
no not serious :p, i actually only used the ped egg for the bottom, side, back and bottom/front of the toes and then just soak them in a mint foot soak.
but yea i didn’t really think about in between toes, i figured the soak solution would get those areas, duh i don’t know why i didn’t think to buy a narrow foot scrubber to get those hard to reach areas. i only did the home pedicures a few times so i’m still learning. thanks ![]()
Re: Ped Egg great for home pedicures
I tend to get rough skin right under those toes that I mentioned above. Now, it could be because we changed the tiles. And I've also read that callouses in those areas are common for people who have a second toe that's longer than the first toe (which I have).
