I can't open the thread. :-(
Re: peacock worshippers
its not a “sect” though, it could be a cult, or other religion.
why is it a “surprise”? because Muslim rulers in past didn’t finish them off unlike the “history” you know?

yes, and that represents all Muslim rule.
btw, "grave worshipping" does not mean that the person think the one in grave as "God" or other source of blessing/necessities etc.
^
grave worshipping means that u take the person as a link between u and God....
similar to what pagan arabs used the idols for....
they still believed in one God but idols were the ones they thought r closer to him and can be more persuasive....

First of all, kabba is not a stone... Second of all, it is considered the house of Allah, which is why we hold it in our highest respects. Lastly, you need to find some better reasoning for your onslaught against Muslims.

We hold Kaaba sacred, just because we face Kaaba to pray. Otherwise it hardly has any great significance. It is truly a cubical structure made of stone. We do not worship Kaaba, it is just a reference point. Had we worshipped it we would not stand on top of it and give the call to prayer (azaan).
The stone which is sacred to us is after all just a stone. I think you are talking about Hijr al Aswad (the black stone) on one corner of the wall of kaaba. We believe that it came from heaven. Although it did, but we only hold it sacred because the Prophet Muhammad (saw) kissed that stone. Otherwise it will have no value.
Dear brothers, ArMughal and Spock, please be kind and answer the questions. As a non-Muslim, Rvikz would naturally ask such questions.

I already answered it, and quite frankly Im sick of his continuing anti-Pakistani/Muslim stance...
A Muslim should never lose his patience.
