salam everyone 
need some ideas regarding mehndi dresses for the bridesmaid,actually em thinking of peacock theme for my mehndi have already ordered my dresse in peacock shades, need some ideas how can i further add peacock colours to my mehndi event.I would appreciate if u guys add few pix showing the peacock themed stages,mehndi thals etc

Everyone's definition of peacock colours tend to be slightly different, yellow, beige, brown, emerald green, mehndi green, skyblue, teal, cobalt blue, indigo, purple, black, what are your peacock colours?

I had the same issue when i started using the portal, anyway, now i know. On the right column where you see all these different options, second last heading is features. There are a few sub-options under that and one of them is images uploader, use that to upload the image like you do in email attachment but instead of attaching the image, it generates a small code. Copy that code and put that into the reply and your image will be posted in the thread.

outside of the last two, the others aren’t really peacock colours…

actually u r rite,when i ordered my mehndi dress i din even think of this theme but as i planned further talkin to frnd n family about their dresses this idea suddenly clicked my mind :) and for sure i don want to look like a peacock :P so i think colors will go with the theme with least peacock effect :) in the meanwhile i suggested my bridesmaid to select diff colors (peacock based) and make same dresses but with diff colors :) plus i thinking of adding these shades to the stage!!
and i liked ur cake wala idea main nay socha bhi tha but the prob is cake would be on barat :@

Have mehndi thaals with peacocks in them, and peacock cakes. Or even a peacock bouquet.

That second picture of the mehndi thaal is one of my pics from one of my best friends wedding, she had a (sort of!) peacock theme too, and it just looks really pretty together. I think the key is to use the right colours, esp with the stage decor as it really pulls it together
I think getting your family and friends to wear peacock accessories would be really nice! And fun!

This isn’t her stage, but it’s one I’ve seen which I liked:
I don’t have pics of my friend’s stage cos I didn’t get to take that many, but she basically used a lot of blues with flashes to red and green (cos that was the colour of her outfit), and lots of mirrors which looked pretty.
Errr, she just bought a lot of her stuff from local shops near where she lives, oh and a lot from India too cos her mum went to India and bought a lot of stuff for the wedding
