If you defend something that means you agree with it. So if you defend the publication of the cartoons its because you agree that they should be publicized. Yes, the wording is really confusing.

No , its not confusing at all actually .. We may defend our rights , we may defend someone or protect someone through our defense ..
In this case , the question simply means do you protect the action of publishing those pics .. and our answer to that should be NO ...

I was explaining according to the question asked. I did not mention anything about agreement or disagreement to the content. I said if you defend the publication as asked in the poll it means you agree to let it be publicised. No where did I say it also means you agree with the message.
Although personally I would not defend to have something publicized if I did NOT agree with its message. That to me is contradicting. Also, if you don't agree with my opinion thats fine but do not tell me my opinion is wrong or worse then yours or someone else's, thanks.

In this context, most folks would draw the distinction between publish and publicize. The scumbags published the movie. The folks who watched it and or reacted to it publicized it.

Today both of you accused me of attacking those who disagree with me. I would like to direct both of you to post 5 where I respectfully disagreed with CDG. And to CDG's response in post 6. Specifically the last sentence. Totally uncalled for in my humble opinion.
With this, I will stop providing instances in which the protagonist was the other party. Thanks again for the opportunity to state my side in an OPEN and TRANSPARENT manner.
