Asalam o alaikum.
I’m bit confuse ,and thats coz my knowledge is limited.
My question is does saying PEACE means Salam? Like Asalam o alaikum ?

Meaning of Peace in Arabic is “Salam” and vice-versa in english. When we say ‘Peace be upon you’, in arabic it is ‘As-Salam-o-Alycum’. But it is not necessary to use ‘Peace’ instead of ‘Salam’. We were recommended to greet in ‘Arabic’ so better if we use ‘Salam’ instead of ‘Peace’.
Here i’m using ‘Peace’ as ‘Salamti’ not as ‘greet’.
