Re: Peace Dialog with taleban
No not surrender, the war isn’t over yet. But having typical British sensibilities, I’d like Pakistan to be able to stab TTP in the back. :DYou know, fight this war in a typical imperial European fashion. But hey, that’s a wishful thinking, who may I kidding by comparing dubious, incompetent Pakistani military who cannot a guard a tiny state with mighty armies who conquered and guarded massive Empires.
These peace talks will fail if they haven’t failed already, military action is inevitable but will it bring any immediate relief and long term peace in the country - I’m not sure. That’s my honest opinion.
Sigh. If only we had an Attaturk on the borders and a Churchill in the country, whilst Immi should’ve been in Britain around IRA time or even before that to stop situation from reaching to that state.
While Churchill was a d-bag towards desis, he certainly had a powerful presence and rallied his country. I definitely think a Pakistani Attaturk is needed to clean house, both the army and the terrorists.
