Re: Peace Dialog with taleban
I agree! Imran gets targeted because of his one dimensional stance regarding terrorism. The issue is not as simple as Imran Khan makes it to be. PTI will have to make up their mind how they will get rid of this menace. The policy of indecision would damage them. Before this attack several others have taken place, not a single condemnation or visiting the victims etc (due to the fear of angering the militants). Even this time around their members visited after 3-4 hours of the tragedy, but by then ANP had already seized the initiative. The party is coming across as a coward party which cannot even condemn those perpetrating terror in the country let alone take them head on.
The difference between PMLN and PTI is that, the former did not make noise regarding talks with taleban (although their policy was similar). Now when the talks narrative is falling apart its natural for people to ask IK about it, and unfortunately it seems as if PTI does not have any policy to tackle the fall out. Thats the difference between a politician and otherwise.
Imran Khan has portrayed himself as a revolutionary leader and you need to take gutsy decisions to justify that.
