Initially I was just choosing between palm tx or palm life drive but I am wondering if an MS based PDA is better than palm OS. If it is… what would you guys recommend? If palm is better… is palm life drive worth the $399 tag?

Life Drive has the proper features and certainly worth the $399. But if i'm dishing out that much dough I'd like a more convergent device with a built-in phone. Plus the fact that Palm is changing the OS around in a few mths and the new one (ALP, linux based) may not support older applications.
PocketPC on the other hand has been getting really stable and handles sync with a windows PC natively. The new Treo 700w (offered by Verizon) holds the best of both world, a Palm device with Windows Mobile 5.0 :)
