One thing to note is that in one of their sections, where it lists the future schedules, they don’t have an exact number of Tests and ODI’s listed for Pak tour of Windies. I saw a post in here that mentions it will be 3 Tests and 2 ODI’s. Sorry for going off-topic, but is this confirmed? (Doesn’t look like it from PCB’s site)

PCB website still says “TBC” while http://www.cricinfo.com/db/FORTHCOMING/FORTHCOMING_TOURS_PAK.html shows 2 Tests and 3 ODIs (not 3 Tests 2 ODIs).

Off topic, but why does PCB agrees to be-tukkay number of tests and ODI's?
Like in India series, we ended up playing 6 ODI's. Koi logic hai...? ab agar *Ahmadabad *ko maut aa rahee thee test match na honay pe, tau kisi aur ka kaat daitay.
Now, what the heck is 2 tests? Bhai, simple si baat hai... Always have 3 Tests and 5 ODI's. No confusion, and its all very simple and keeps things interesting.

West Indies can accomodate 6 home tests per year. Guess what! South Africa is playing FOUR. That leaves one of the best Test nation with only two slots. PCB is too hungry to take every bone thrown at it. Let's face it, PCB is run by illiterate incompetent and insecured businessmen. They will do whatever it takes to make some money.

^^Thats because we are still considered a bottom tiered test team.....and have lost the prestige that comes along with playing 5 test series....Pakistan is the only established test country that has not played more then three test in a series since '92. Furthermore, as alluded to above, PCB is run by idiots a la Gen. Tauqir and Sheryar Khan, who do not know squat about cricket....their only interest has been to enrich themselves, their families and cronies....

Very true.. We need as many tests as possible to be competitive and to improve in Test cricket
If we dont play more tests, players who speacilize in tests like Danish and Asim will be neglected.
