LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar Khan said that a formal announcement about the national team’s new head coach would be made in a couple of days.
Addressing a joint press conference along with PSL Chairman Najam Sethi here on Tuesday, Khan said PCB has reached a decision about the appointment of new head coach.
Khan, however, refused to disclose his name.
“Unfortunately, I cannot tell you his name for the movement. But we have reached a decision and it will be announced in a day or two,” he said.
The post fell vacant in April after former coach Waqar Younis stepped down over team’s poor showing in the World Twenty20.
