@ravage

True That

@Nikema

He knows that his style of bowling that has earned him 6 wickets in 11 games this years (other than WC games) is not favorable for conditions of ireland and his batting form, last thing where he wants to** expose himself is NOT the early summer seam/swing bowling conditions of Ireland**…

He will be back, mark my words…He has avoided (because his dad was SICK…Now we know how much truth was in that excuse for NOT serving Pak) the testing conditions of Ireland for his batting form and his unimpressive bowling that needs either tailer made conditions or a weak opposition …The reason I say he will be back is because he knows that Pak’s next International assignment is going to be with ZIM and possibly with SL, and Afridi has thrived on playing against teams like such…This is an ideal opportunity for him to grab some wickets and score some runs on non bouncy/challenging wickets…against ZIM and SL…this is the scenario, Jisss Main Afridi Bhi SHeeeyr Hey!

@Nikema

Saby, What continuous cricket??? He played t20 last july and ran off from responsibilities of playing continuously for Pak during test series with AUS/ENg, then had a **rest/break **and then came back for 5 ODI’s with eng…then had a rest/break and then played 5 ODI’s with SA and then had another 6 weeks or so of **rest/break **then played t20/ODI with NZ and then came back and had a **break/rest then played WC had rest/break **and then went to WI…Bhai Marey Afridi over last 12 months had more breaks than PTV’s coverage of cricket WC 1999.

do you think he would have been asking for a break from busy cricket if he was part of IPL?

This is what asked when Saby justified Afridi’s intent of skipping IRELAND series by saying that he needed a rest.

So, rest (which he doesnt even deserve…read my above quote) is only for Pak duties and not from Hampshire duties???
