**PCB receive no confirmation **
KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Wednesday it had received no official confirmation from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) about forthcoming senior or junior tours.
**“We have also read and heard about the Indian Sports Ministry giving clearance for Indian U-19 and ‘A’ teams to play against Pakistan in multilateral tournaments.”
“But so far we have not received anything official confirming this from the Indian board,” a PCB spokesman said.

He said the permission given by the Indian sports ministry was for Asian Cricket Foundation (ACF) tournaments and they were also subject to approval from the participating boards and governments.
**"We are happy that the Indian junior and ‘A’ teams are scheduled to play in Pakistan later this year but we are still waiting for official confirmation from the Indian board.

The Indian sports ministry has given clearance for its junior and ‘A’ teams to play against Pakistan in Sri Lanka, Pakistan and in India in three back to back ACF competitions in the next few months.
“Until we get that we really say anything for certain. One thing is certain that there has been no headway on the Indian board’s proposal to tour Pakistan early next year for the Test series or on the proposed Friendship series of two One-day matches in September,” the spokesman added.
He said the PCB policy was very clear that sports and politics should not be mixed and it felt this should be the case in cricket relations between the two countries.
