when you read news like this one…you just wonder if these news are correct? i mean how can one do this?

how can you ignore the best bastman who scored highest?
***The injustice has been done to the top scorer of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy, Israrullah from Peshawar, who scored 875 at an excellent average of 67.31.

how can you ignore the best bowler?
***Top bowlers of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy, Nasir Malik (65 wickets, 20.49 average), Shehzad Azam (51 wickets, 19.10) and Haseeb Azam (51 wickets, 19.10) have also failed to get the selectors nod.

how can you ignore the best all rounder?
Similarly, the best all-rounder of the tournament, Imad Wasim of Islamabad, has been ignored, who scored 804 runs at an average of 57.43, besides taking 41 wickets at an average of 16.32.

Re: PCB overlooks top performers for emerging players’ training camp

anyway, you read such news and your blood boils.....but then I realize that these news are just one dimensional..there is no way our selectors in PCB can be that stupid or that cruel..they are after all human-beings...there has to more technical details these these ignorant reporters do not know or do not want to report and i really mean it...

for example, maybe the best batsman in the tournament got ignored because he made one big score against a weaker team but did not perform well in tough conditions against better teams?

maybe the best bowlers belong to that category which are not in shortage in our current Pakistani squad (left arm spin bowler or left arm fast bowler)

We need to be more open-minded and shd not mistrust our system that much..media just wants sensation

Re: PCB overlooks top performers for emerging players’ training camp

But at least they should get a chance to appear in training camp. If you are putting money your old horses again & again then why not gamble on new players ?
