Why is it that these days that the head or the chairmain of PCB is always retired army general or a retired diplomat.
It’s not just cricket in Pakistan but other sports also i.e. the head of Pakistan Squash Federation is always head of Pakistan Air Force. How much time does he spend planning the the future of squash or planning the pakistan air force.
Why can’t these posts be given to ex retired players or professionals or people with a right knowledge of the game?
bhai sahab you are worried about khel and sports, what about every other civil administration, banks and even some multinationals? Everywhere you will find some fat retired fauji sitting somewhere at the top. After all, our army has always had a talent for crushing civilians (figuratively and literally).
Yes - totally agree with you. I did not include your list as we are in a sports thread. But I do know that these ex retired generals are taking up the top positions. The chairmain or ex chairmain of WAPDA is a army general.
Should not they be left to do what they were trained for?
