Yes Steve Waugh was poor against the short pitched when he started out, but he solved problem-and there is a big fifference is ducking a bouncer from Ambrose, Walsh, Imran Khan, Wasim and co then being scarred of an Andrew caddick bouncer.
SW was widely regarded as a major talent, and from the footage I've seen over the years of him, esp during the "Ashes Gold" shows on Sky Sports, of that period of was a brilliant driver, played straight and could cut.
Faisal Iqbal can do very little. Besides, once SW's nerves settled in the test arena, runs came like a flood.

Steve Waugh never solved the problem, he just learnt to live wid it and score in his fav areas!
Well Today Faisal showed people like you that he can play pull shots! He is a good driver of the ball, plays striahgt and fierce square cutter! But you wont agree coz you didnt ge tto see todays innings as well. He has all the makings of a successful batsman and 'yes when he settles down in test arena, runs will come like a flood!

SW improvised in his situation, he can pull, not hook, but now cuts hookable balls high over the slips down to the (usually vacant) 3rd man area. Faisal Iqbal just hasnt impressed me yet, he has had a few decent kncosk, but he must do it against good sides consistantly.

Ofcourse when you hear about someone, you watch out for him and for your information, i have played with Faisal and didnt like him that time but he has imprved a lot! hmm seems u r so stubborn, Yo will not watch any match live perhaps and if he scores again you wont be impressed at all !!
