Hi all,
For those of you who live abroad with experience buying from designers in Pakistan, I was wondering what your experience has been with the various payment and shipping options. Anything that your recommend/advise?

Payment was sent through western union, never had a problem with that and where I am, its only $10 charge to send to Pak (as opposed to 20-30 to send anywhere else)
shipping options on the other hand, I'm not sure. I just know that fedex/DHL charge A LOT

I wish I could help out with teh shipping but I'm not sure....In the past I've had my clothes delivered via DHL/Fedex which is quick and reliable....but very expensive.
I used TCS but that was within pakistan...decent service from them too.
There are some vendors that include the cost of shipping in the price of the outfit....which vendors are you looking to purchase from?

I think proto's estimate was roughly $30+ for dhl. Pakistan post is cheaper.

yeah it is I've been quoted 2000-3000 for non-DHL....not sure of hte exact amount though but I think she did send me clothes via that once..
Fortunately I've never had an issue with shipping

DHL direct (not via dubai) that takes 2 working days to deliver in the UK and 3 working days(max 4 depending on the state) for US/canada
