Honestly I don’t believe in countering kala jadoo with anything but your own duas and recitation of recommended surahs for protection…but if someone does decide to go down this path then the fees should not be exorbitant. I would look for someone that is charging a nominal fee for his/her time only.

Agreed, unless the effect is powerful enough to prevent you from praying/reciting. In that case, you might need someone else to recite for you. But no mumbo jumbo, just Quraan and authentic duas.
