^ a tru man wudn't make u feel like u owed him something if he paid for ur food...i wud go to lunch n stuff with a friend and he never made me feel as if i "owed" him anything....there was always the struggle, i wud reach in my pocket for the money and he pushed me outta the way..kinda funny if u tink bout it...but yeah...so if it's a friends situation, i wudn't feel weird bout lettin him pay, but if it was a date, an actual date, i wudn't let the guy pay..make sense?

If you are dating then it sorta all adds up. She pays for the food, you pay for the drink.
You can buy movie tickets and she gets the munchies.

Makes it easier.

Or if you are going out for a long drive, you pay for the gas and she gets the picnic organized.

Why must the happy couple pay? Take it out of the waiter's paycheque. Come on, they're trying to further the human race, I think a few people can take a few hits for the human race.

I wouldn't mind paying for my share when going out for dinner and/or lunch with friend(s). Once in a while I wouldn't mind treating friends, but would not like to make it a habit of treating others.

I have always paid on the first dates - Generally sharing is done when the dating becomes regular with that person... maybe after 4 or 5 dates

wats up with all the bs about "true men" paying? why cant women be "true women" and pay?
All these stupid things r so retarted! I know of a couple who broke up because the guy didnt have enough money to keep paying for dates and then he moved so he couldnt afford coming down to meet her every so often and he wouldnt let her pay cuz i guess he felt less "manly" and then eventually they broke up. Every time she would pay he would have a problem with it, even though she never minded paying.
