Anyone has a good recipe of patties like in Pakistan. I was thinkin to go into the baking thread but then came up with a new one.

Where do you live ? In US they sell the pastry sheets , my wife makes qeema or whatever she wants to use ans filling and uses those pastry sheets to make those patties. They never failed.

I just make dry qeema (bhuna howa) and patties turn our yummy every single time.

here is the recipe
for dough:
plain flour-2c
... yeast-1tbsp
sugar-1tsp
oil-1tbsp
salt
water
yogurt-2tbsp(optional)
bakng soda-a pinch(optional)
Method:
melt te yeast in water n make a soft dough with above ingrediants.
let it stand for 1hr.punch the dough n make two balls .roll each ball
to big circle 1/4 inch thick .cut it into 4 triangles..lik v do for samosa.
put te fillng n seal it frm all te sides. Very gently brush them all over
with the egg yolk.bake @ 180 degree till done (10-15mints).
