A person without patience is like a driver whose car has failed brakes. He himself, people travelling (living) with him and people coming across him are always vulnerable to accidents. Patience is useful in the beginning of a calamity, arguement or fight. No use of applying breaks after the damage has been done, because it might take a life time to pluck the thorns that grew in anyone’s heart because of our pinching words.
Patience along withThankfulness isAllah’s blessing. Yusuf (a.s) alone faced mountains of tragedies for 40 years which no human but only prophets have faced. Later his father Yaqoob (a.s) asked about the painful 40 years. In reply Yusuf (a.s) praised Allah for a long time & mentioned one by one Allah’s blessings upon him throughout 40 years, and then in very few words mentioned the difficulties he went through.
