patience gives u time to put other issues before ur emotions. letting ur emotions get the better of u might end up with u making not very favourable decisions in da long run.

right, but emotions, kept in check yet considered is a good thing, no.
example: disciplining someone is one thing, but isn't caring love important in a well meaning and bonding relationship - mom-child or two people who could become married partners?
