we r having pathan guests next month and we dont know nothing about pathani food…not even names
those who know tell me the food name and recipes asap …
what pathans like to eat.what are their traditional khane???

Try roasting a whole lamb or goat. Tikka , all kinds of kababs , botian.
If you make any salan or chawal with gosht in it then the boti should be big enough to fill the mouth.

Better do biryani for them. If you try their foods they wont like it. Do koftays and karahi's as well. As already said here - they only like meat or you can cook red kidney beans of your own way - that will be a great treat.

Okay in all seriousness, you don't have to serve anything different - we eat the same pakistani food a lot anyway - not all pathans are afghani.
Even if your guests are afghani, you're not going to be able to cook aghani pilau, chapli kebab, mantu etc as well as they can and they can eat that anytime anyway.

chapli kabab and afghai pulao is nice idea but more pathani food like karachities/mahajirs like more qorma/niharai and punjabis like pulao etc same way they must have some famous traditinal food ???and no jokes please they are nice people

I have a very close Pathan friend. Apparently in her family Lamb Chops are a family favourite, and she talks about pulao and yoghurt alot.
