Re: patayofying larkay
lol. reminds me of the time when a friend of mine used the word 'patana' and i was like what's that?
Re: patayofying larkay
Suroor jii, please define patayofying for us non-urdu speakers.
Re: patayofying larkay
ohoo belle, patayofying means to 'seduce' or 'trap', kinda like combination of both.
Re: patayofying larkay
pasaaa ![]()
yeah i want tips! I heard playing hard to get is the best, but I dont wanna play games thas just not me ![]()
Re: patayofying larkay
Ok, it took me a good 15 seconds to figure out the topic. Thats what happens when we mix Urdu (slang) and English grammar.
Anyway, guys are complicated and you can't just have some silver bullet to get the one you like on your side. But for starters, you should be able to carry on a meaningful conversation about sports, if you like nerdy dorks than about electronics and computer and if you like the mullah type than about the fatwas and stuff. We don't wanna listen to what happened in the last episode of Gilmore girls. Sumjhi?
And Sara, the word is phansaa.
Re: patayofying larkay
wudnt that be fasanaa?
Re: patayofying larkay
fasanaa is a story, a tale, a novel.
Re: patayofying larkay
isnt that Afsana ?
as far as guys go, dazzle him with intelligence, confidence, looks and humor, a good mixture of both and you`ll have his attention :) Atleast thats what got my attension, in exactly that order.
Re: patayofying larkay
but ph = f sound… darn this english/urdu grammar ![]()
Re: patayofying larkay
Ph is not F sound in urdu :D
PH = phook, like blowing.
Re: patayofying larkay
Ok so if it’s english, then can we just say P when we mean Ph and not Ph which wud confuzzle us ABCDs here ![]()
Re: patayofying larkay
Now u kno what it’s like to be me ![]()
Re: patayofying larkay
Try not to be overly agressive, and also don't play hard to get, it will detract the guy even more.
In my case, if a girl would be interested in me, she should maybe give me a smile and I will take care of the rest. But on the other hand, most Pakistani guys are very shy and won't take an action first couple times. Also if you are looking for a FOB, try to learn something about cricket, its a great conversation starter.
Re: patayofying larkay
Surror ji, this is what I have noticed a woman does when she is interested in me. First they make an eye contact and smile. And then they repeat this process for first couple of days(2-3 days). Once they have been successfully been able to make me smile back at them, they start with whats up, hi, or hello. After that ofcourse, me being a nice guy, I ask them out. In my opinion, a woman should never approach a guy, its a guys job; however, you should send some visible signals...
Re: patayofying larkay
^^ wth, no way can a self respecting lady wait around for some guy to ask her out. taking the inititive is where it is at.
So far as pataofying is concerned. Either you have it, or you dont ![]()
Re: patayofying larkay
arey…fook maaro na ![]()
Re: patayofying larkay
Well I guess its a matter of opinion. Alot of old schooled people prefer for a guy to make a first approach, however the newer generation is slightly more gutsy. If a woman approaches me to ask me out, I would be all about it, less work for me…
