Re: Pasta receipe

I boil pasta in water drain and rinse
in a pan heat oil,add an egg and fry into little pieces, add seasoning add chopped veggies any u like,I add sweetcorn, cabbage, carrots ,capsicum, onion, toms, shredded cooked chicken pieces mix well.add pasta. mix
garnish with sliced boiled egg
serve hot with ketchup

Re: Pasta receipe

adding oil while boiling doest allows pasta to absorb much sauce and rinsing rinses the starch so it is better not to rinse it either, the best thing is boil it only with salt water...

Re: Pasta receipe

Fill a large pot 1/2 full with cold tap water. Place the pot on a large burner, and turn to high. When water is boiling, or large bubbles are churning from the bottom to top, add 1 to 2 spoons of oil. Gently drop pasta into the water, and stir well. Return the water to a boil, and cook for as long as the package instructs, stirring occasionally. When you think macaroni is cooked, put it in a colander/Strainer carefully and washed off the starch or drain the water. Pour cold water over it to remove stickiness. keep aside

Now take a non-stick pan, Fry all the vegitables (green capsicum, spring onions, cabbage, peas, carrots). When you thik they are half cooked, put some soy sauce, chilli sauce, chinese salt and stirr well. keep them aside. Now it's time to fry the chicken cubes, stirr fry them in oil, add soy sauce, chilli sauce, black papper, salt and stir again, remove it from pan when it cooked.

Now in a pot mix well all the prepared stuff (veggies, chicken) with boiled macaroni. cover the pot for a few minutes on low heat. Remove from heat and serve it with ketchup.

I mostly select Elbow Macaroni (macaroni is usually available in different shapes (depends on your choice) or you can use the same recipe for spaghetti also. PLUS I use non-stick pan to fry chicken and veggies and non-stick pot to mix macaroni just to be at a safe n easy side.

Re: Pasta receipe

Here is the best kept secret for 10 min pasta.

put meat balls in 4-5 table spoon sauce. qtr cup water, 1-2 tbsp oil and let the meatball cook on low hear.

In another pan boil pasta with a tsp of salt. Once its boils, rinse hot water (in strainer ) and run cold water through pasta.

Take out pasta in a serving bowl/tray and spread the mixture of RUGU sauce and meatball on the top.

enjoy!

Re: Pasta receipe

I was bored one day in Pk and was missing eating pasta
Put normal pasta (any type will do) in boiling water with salt and a little drop of oil. the oil stops the pasta from sticking together
and let it boil until al dente

Sliced one onion very thinly (moon shaped)
One clove of garlic
and fried in a wok, added thinly sliced cabbage and carrots and green peas, added salt, red chilli powder and black pepper and let it cook, added one table spoon of the pasta water and cooked on high heat.

When the water has evaporated, Crack one to two eggs into the masala mix and stir.
Add the drained pasta and cook on low heat for about five minutes, mixing along

Check the salt and eat warm

Re: Pasta receipe

Pasta receipe

My aunty makes yummy pasta, firstly she makes keema like normal and adds peas, potatoes and sweet corn, and then adds dolmio pasta sauce, separately boils pasta, then adds it to the keema, stirs it and ready to serve.

Re: Pasta receipe

Agree. Pasta's are made in certain shapes and sizes for the purpose of the sauce they will be carrying. Adding oil does nothing to help the pasta - in fact, in order to prevent pasta from sticking just make sure you add it to a big pot of boiling water and keep stirring. Once drained, don't rinse either...the starch helps the sauce come together and keeps it sticking to your pasta. Pasta is only rinsed when used in cold salads.

Also, why does everyone in Pakistan think ketchup and pasta go hand-in-hand?! =/ I still don't get it.
