Well its more than ‘personal comfort zone’ things. This is also a privacy issue. For example, I’d really feel odd (and outraged) to find out that mails that I wrote to my DR were actually read by his wife and she knows my medical history etc. I’ll also feel uncomfortable reading mails for my wife as I might end up reading one from her friend (or some of female relative) that was meant for only her eyes. List goes on and on…
