ARGH!!! So damn tired. Went for my passport renewal and it took so much time GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR so disorganised these people are and on top of it everyone including the staff and the customers are such JAHIL PEOPLE.
I Pray to Allah that my passport doesnt expire for next 100 years..Aameen.

Oh sorry you had so much trouble…
I used to think it was just my arrogant and ill tempered nature that made the clerks at such places so slow to process my application and interview… but when I learned it was standard procedure to wait a couple of hours… I was shocked.
I wish my sword was passport enough for most places… 
I pray that we never need to go through useless Passport process but it seems all this red tape serves a higher purpose…

I've a very bad experience with the staff at Canadian Consulate in Toronto...they were so unprofessional, rude and expert in giving incorrect and/or misleading info. God Bless them!!! duh**

I had a different experience .. I knew things are gonna messed up at passport office so instead of going there at 9 .. I went there at 6 AM .. there were no one in the queue at 7 .. .. everything went smooth

In karachi - it aint a hassle any more - just go to Awaami markaz ( civic centre ) and get it done in minutes !

When I renewed mine I used a contact to get the token no. (that's the worst part). Once inside, the lines are long but the process is pretty straightforward. Took an hour at most and this was in Lahore. In Jeddah the situation is far worse. Even the London embassy is a hassle to go through. Pakistanis are the same everywhere :(.
My previous time renewing my passport was a really bad experience. I had to face 4-5 days of visits to NADRA and the passport office before I got annoyed with the whole process and called my MNA uncle. When I went to the passport office next morning I went right in, no lines or anything, my passport was ready and I got served a cup of coffee too. lol.

Well i was there at 9 i think. It was nt so much of waiting that bothered me bt the people inside who were like such creeps as they were least interested in being helpful. Had such a sarial look on their faces n not to forget this women who kept banging into me while standing behind me in the que. Gosh was she annoying or what! lols. i dnt like disrespecting anyone esp people elder to me bt she was like asking for it n i had to tell her that banging into me again n again wudnt make this que go up any faster so STOP.

Haha. See this is the thing, they annoy you to the extent that u just dont have the patience anymore and go thru such means to get issues resolved. This sucks.

Once i got inside, everything was fine till i got to the last step. Lols. The baba jee at desk was a real meanie, i had everything with me but he asked for an extra document which was not needed actually. So i told him i dont have it with me but he was like i wouldnt do it otherwise go get it from home n i told him i live far n he goes well i come from real far also. Lols. He said i wont do it either u bring it or go to the other officer. Went to the other officer n he was the same, perhaps once u get rejected from one office the other doesnt wanna take u cuz it mite mean trouble for them also. Haha. Then i was directed towards somebody who was suppose to approve something or wateva n he directed me to the most senior person who in return got angry as to why i was asked 2 see him. lol i literally felt like tearing their hair apart hahaah (ya not mine:p) for making me go here n there again n again. He asked me to go to some other officer who was nice enough to hear me out haha n he asked me to wait till he gets my info on his comp. But b4 he got it, my ticker showed up again in the senior officer's monitor n he finally approved. Hah i think Allah made it happen otherwise i cud see myself having to come again to drop the card they were asking for. However the misery didnt stop here cuz i was done bt there were issues with my sister's son's papers so we had to wait another +1 hr for that arguing n what not.

Ofcourse i wouldnt be renewing canadian passport in pakistan :p. lolz. ** why NOT? if u've a Canadian Passport then i'm sure there is a Canadian High Commission in Pakistan where u could get a new passport [Canadian's do NOT renew passports, a new one is made everytime the passport expires]
i'm saying this just for argument sake. now, i know u went to get ur Pakistani passport renewed.**

lols. ur being funny here. firstly, they do jump the lines! 2ndly even if they didnt, its nt fair that a rich person gets away easy here too by giving in some cash n flying out of the place in no time. nt fair.
And as for the canadian high commission, yes its in isl. i mixed it with the healthcard which can only be renewed in canada itself. i need 2 get that one updated.

don't u miss Canada? when i go to india i enjoy being with the family ONLY, hate everything else...the system is corrupt. nothing gets done ever...so, i MISS Canada. i dunno about Pak but i can never settle in india again. i'm a misfit there now. i will only go there for a visit. i MISS my village and thats about it!**

Well i hvnt visited for abt 4 yrs now....eeks. I was actually suppose to come there this feb but i backed out :D hah. I rather go with Dad to tour europe on his business trip then go to Canada and get bored since dad wont be accompanying me there.
