That is simply not true and very much biased! not all desis are dogs and not all ABCD/BBCD are bitches.
I came from Pakistan, settled in UK. I didnt get married to stay here, cause i think marriage is totally different relationship and it shouldnt be mixed with other reasons.
Most of the guys who try to find a girl or foreign nationality, are not successful in pakistan. they think its easy wayout.
Arranged marriages can work across cultures, if girl/guy from west is bit desi and guy/girl from east is bit moderate and understand the norms in west. then there should not be problem.
But most of the parents here are from far more remote areas of Pakistan or India. they look only in relatives or guys there. That make difference even huge between a girl/guy from west and other from very very remote and uneducated guys/girls. they may not even cope with any pakistani living in metropolitan or major cities let alone a western.
So parents/gals has to think about this huge difference and should consider this when making a match.
Other reason what can you really expect when marriage is based on Passport? How much guy can be fair? if he eyes only nationality? ofcourse his other habits nature will be influenced by greed! thats what i think.
Everyone should rely on his/her own guts/abilities to get success.
Simple trick, marry a successful professional from there to remove some of the loosers from the list.
There is no simple solution for this problem. Guys from west want to marry backhome more than here. so girls born here left with less choice locally.
to me best match is people from similar values and culture either they are from east or west.

well that is generally what pakistani girls living in England probably say or think when their parents want to take them back home and marry them off to a cousin and bring him back here. the situation is worse when the guy is not educated & comes from a totally different background i-e has different values & everything.

I have female cousins in UK, and they talk abt this all the time. Heard so many stories, that how thios one girl got married brought her husband from Pakistan...and then he divorced her once he got the Red passport.
So its really pathetic...and secondly the parents in UK, are still very narrow minded. I mean honor killings are taking place in England. That is really shocking. The situation of desis in UK is totally different from those in US. Well just hope for the better....
