Passing of someone

Someone I have deep admiration for passed away a while ago because of cancer; very young too (mid 30’s). Such a sweet and lovely person; a true gem.

We all have to die. But my question: is there an ayat in Quran where Allah (swt) talks about death of those very young; or death in general or what happens to the soul after passing (i’m sure there is something to the effect).

I’m just looking for closure as this person’s thoughts occupy my mind daily. Such a beautiful creation of Allah gone so soon.

Surely there is a lot about death in Quran.

My mom says when ppl talk good about a person when he dies, then the soul seemed to be a blessed one. As Allah look at His creature if they were happy with the person who died. So thats why one should always do good, inshAllah at the end you will be rewarded for that if not in world.
