Passed my driving test

Re: Passed my driving test

Low insurance group and a car that isn't too expensive to service if cost is a factor and with parts that aren't too expensive to replace.. If you feel really comfortable in the car u learned in u could get that or something similar (eg. pug 207, vauxhall corsa, micra).. Not sure if ur in the UK, US or somewhere else but if it's the UK bear in mind how much road tax u pay can also depend on which model u go for.. The costs do all add up and esp when ur a new driver the insurance can be a killer..

Agree :DAlso auto makes u lazy imo (and it's more boring to drive)

Re: Passed my driving test

congratulations. you are lucky because your car is going to be sponsored by your parent.

In my opinion, you should go with used car for a couple of year. You can also add your name in your parents car insurance policy. It will help you to get low insurance cost.

Manual/Automatic gear is depend on your learning. If you learn on automatic then go with it.

if you are in US,

  • you can use http://www.kbb.com/ to find out used car.
  • I prefer toyota make and sedan style. (toyota parts are relatively cheap in US, while American cars are not strong enough and alos lose market value when you sell them)
  • insurance: I think geico is cheaper, but it depend on your number of driving years, and age factor http://www.geico.com/

Re: Passed my driving test

My very first car was a brand new Toyota Corolla. Had it for 5 years...never had one single problem with it. Don't know about other countries...but in the U.S., I don't think you can go wrong with a Toyota.

Re: Passed my driving test

i m also big fan of toyota...

Re: Passed my driving test

Be a desi and get a Toyota.

Re: Passed my driving test

Good gas mileage for me...I hate...simply hate...like loathe...pumping gas.

I dont like cars that are too big...so small cars like corollas and civics are wonderful. I feel like I dont know how big it is and where exactly it ends...lol

Low maintenance...routine oil changes and that should be about it.

Re: Passed my driving test

and also smelling bad...hahaha

Re: Passed my driving test

If you are not in pakistan, get a Cadillac, i simple love my father's Cadillac in all of his cars.

If you are in Pakistan, get a Vitz, Pakistan roads are not easy for a bigger car, smaller cars are easy to drive and convenient to park.

Re: Passed my driving test

I have a Mazda3 and love love love it!!!! If you are in the US or Canada, I highly recommend that car!!

Re: Passed my driving test

Women should not be allowed to drive ever!!!!

Re: Passed my driving test

Re: Passed my driving test

I had one in Lallo-khet. They told me there a woman can not drive a tanga. So the same applies for cars!!

Re: Passed my driving test

and you have no idea how bad drivers guys are. wese, only a few days back i saw an article on yahoo that study shows that women are better drivers then men... hmm...

Re: Passed my driving test

and, that article was written by someone from the woman's group based on myths? :D

Re: Passed my driving test

nope... that was based on global survey.... khair, i am not at all against khush fehmi, insaan ko khush rehna chaiye or mardo ko to khush hi rehna chaiye :D

Re: Passed my driving test

Women are just better drivers because they drive so little. Its all the law of probability. Also women don't need to hear women back seat driving. Men do.

Re: Passed my driving test

:omg:

Re: Passed my driving test

i too don't like big cars....i love mini Pajero.:)

Re: Passed my driving test

True, but we have to listen to and watch men passenger-seat phantom driving. Just to remind you, there is no brake pedal on the passenger side
