I always got pissed off at Afghanis for scapegoating Pakis but now Pakis are doing the same to Pashtuns.
Pashtuns gave their lives for Pak, they're the bravest/chivalrous of our army. Even the radicals amongst Pashtuns were supported/created by the Pakistan state to combat Indian terrorism, it was because of them that Azad Kashmir was freed from India.
It's easy for Pakis living in the West to lay the whole blame on Pashtuns and disassociate from them but the world knows Pakistan's involvement and the Lal Masjid incident has shown that radicalism isn't limited to the Pashtuns areas, before you know it USA will be bombing the Madrassah's in Lahore and Khi.
Must admit Pashtuns are pretty stupid too, they made a big mistake by giving refuge to AQ and now they're paying for it.

labella, sorry for people picking on you... we aren't rude... you are new so you dont really know the different forum cultures I guess... If you had this post in Cafe... no one would have said a word...
Anyways,,, I know what you are saying.... I dont think anyone has watched the movie yet... but lets wait till you and others have seen it... and then people can decide whether pashtuns are being singled out.
You would have to agree with people though that pashtuns generally would have a more fundamentalist approach to things because of the culture and the way we are brought up in a conservative environment... but fact remains that there are good and bad in every race. I hope the movie hasnt singled out pashtuns,, a proper way of doing it would be to show both the good and bad sides... and also throw in a couple of bad punjabis and makranis in there as well :D
