Politicians seek US assistance to dismiss powerful, meddling generals and the very same generals seek Arab support to dismiss elected politicians?

these days pakistan army/isi has become the favourit whipping boy, no doubt they have faults like all of us, but com'on now, there must be a limit of obsession to anything

They deserve to be whipped. In fact we do not even whip them enough for all the mistakes they have made. We constantly bash Zardari for all his mistakes and that is ok.

The Army and its budget is not a reason why 90% of Pakistan should suffer hunger and poverty. We are not their sacrificial lambs.

The army was in a lot of pressure after may 2, and it is highly likely they would have thought about dislodging the government; but if they discussed this with the gulf leaders and as a counter if zardari government discussed removing coas and isi chief with the American military both of these come under treason.

The same question applies to memo-gate has anybody seen the proof. I certainly haven't.

army top brass wants zardari to be removed, NS wants the same (hence he moved court in favour of memo gate)...if some sort of arrangement/understanding is reached between the two (considering the goal is the same), we could see NS's turn...

For the past few months PMLN’s policies are so confused that it becomes difficult to gauge what they really want…

They have gone to court regarding memogate. Now Ch Nisar is saying “Opposition not to become part of any conspiracy: Nisar” (http://www.dawn.com/2011/12/15/opposition-not-to-become-part-of-any-conspiracy-nisar.html)
If thats so they should withdraw memo gate to strengthen democracy, empty words don’t matter any more.

No,This wes done in March before May, If Ijaz is right, even if their is some truth in memo-gate,Have civilian some right to defend themselves ?

So, shouldn't Pasha resign and submit himself for Investigation just like Hussain Haqqani with allegations from same person (Mansoor Ijaz)?

On one side CJ issues notice to president who is no where in the constitutional chain who has authority to write such memo and on the other hand, he is not taking any note of these allegations on ISI chief who should not even meet Mansoor Ijaz without permission from Govt let alone taking permissions from Arab Badshahs to topple the govt
